I was born and raised in the Magic Valley by parents who were devout Christians and instilled in me the values of hard work and integrity. These values define who I am, and I strive to exhibit ethical behavior every day. I am proud of my heritage and the community in which I live. My husband, Burl, and I have been married for 31 years, and between us have five children and seven grandchildren.
Following a 25-year career in healthcare management, I retired in September 2013 in order to pursue endeavors that bring more self-fulfillment at this stage in life. I am determined to use my time, energies and management skills in activities that actually make a positive difference in the lives of those around me. I pledge to make well-reasoned, research-based decisions during my tenure on the City Council. I am also committed to the belief that we should honor all those who have served our community previously as they have contributed to the City of Kimberly as it now stands.
