Kimberly City Hall To Relocate In The Interest Of Public and Employee Safety
The Kimberly City Hall will be vacating its current location in the interest of public and employee safety. The 90 year building is in deteriorating condition and spring rains have caused ceiling collapses in city offices. In addition to the ceiling problems, there has been an electrical fire caused by old wiring and rodents trapped inside office walls.
On Friday, June 25, 2010 the Kimberly City Hall will be closed to relocate its facilities to the Council Chambers located at 120 Madison Street West. Regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. will resume at the new location on Monday, June 28, 2010.
Beginning June 22, 2010 the Kimberly City Council Meetings and Kimberly Planning & Zoning Meetings will be held in the Kimberly School District’s round building located at 141 Center Street West.
• Kimberly City Council Meetings take place the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
• Kimberly Planning & Zoning Meetings take place the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
