We have approximately 25 miles of roads that we have to currently maintain. Decreasing budgets and increasing petroleum prices make this increasingly more difficult. Our street Revenues have varied over the years between $89,000.00 to $109,000.00. We try to maintain our streets to the best of our ability with these limited resources.

Sweeping Program

The Street Maintenance Division's Sweeping Program runs annually from April through October. Residential streets in the City are swept two times per year and the commercial and downtown streets are swept once a week. Please do not put your piles of leaves in the street for street cleaning. The street division will not pick up piles of leaves at this time.
