Animal Reporting Procedures

Responsibilities

Kimberly Animal Control is responsible for:

  • Investigating and following up on animal-inflicted injuries
  • Impounding animals for rabies observation at a veterinarian's office
  • Enforcing leash laws and other animal control ordinances
  • Capturing and impounding stray animals
    • Dog Impound Fees:
      • First Offense $50.00
      • Second Offense $75.00
      • Third Offense $100.00
      • Additional Fee $5.00 a day
  • Selling dog licenses as required by ordinances
  • Investigating animal cruelty, vicious animals, and nuisance animal complaints
