Description
The MYAC began in July 2008 and has been actively growing ever since.
The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council is a group of young students working together to make Kimberly a great place to live. Their motto is: "Motivated Youth Making A Difference In Our Community." They are a real council consisting of a Youth Mayor, Youth Council President, four Youth Council Members, Youth Historian, Youth Treasurer, and Youth Secretary. In addition the MYAC has over thirty students of General Membership that also help participate in our community projects.
According to the MYAC Bylaws the MYAC elected council serves for one calendar year. Elections begin at the end of April and the newly elected members do not begin serving until the end of the school year.
